"Cross of Nails" and
Signs

“Cross of Nails.”
I have always been hesitant to wear any kind
of Cross jewelry. The Cross of Calvary has always
seemed so much more significant that just a
decoration. And the people whom I have noticed wearing
the Cross are often not indicative of the
type of person that “enhances” the true value and meaning of
this very special
Cross.
The above photo is of a Cross pendant that I
think I am happy wearing, not for others’ benefit,
but
for my own benefit. It reminds me of the significance of this Cross. The
Cross of Calvary is not
to be a “pretty” thing.
The Cross of Calvary represents the Blood of
Jesus Christ, the accepting of my sin, in my place,
the Suffering He Suffered – He died that I
might Live! The “Cross of Nails” helps me to remember
why that Cross is so very
important.
This “Cross of Nails” is 2” high and about 1
9/16” wide and comes with a black fabric cord, 28” long,
but of course can be worn with a standard
gold or silver chain – however you wish. You could also wear
it with a pin. The three nails are gray in
color and the wire holding them in place is shiny silver.
